Arata is surprised to see Chihaya flip her card placements, but soon realizes that she did it so that her left arm movements would be similar to how they would be if she was using her right arm. Chihaya's plan is successful and wins the match. Arata is excited by Chihaya's excitement when she plays, and is impressed by her ability to win even when using her weak hand.
Nishida has to play against Arata in the second round, and decides that he must put his full energy into the match to properly support his team. He loses, but Arata is impressed by his abilities, while Nishida considers Arata's strengths.
Chihaya wins her second round and again has to play against Shinobu for the third round.
