Light Novel 2 of Chihayafuru written by Tokiumi Yui. The Story depicts the happenings during middle school which are not captured in either the Manga, Anime and Movies. The second Story depicts the relationship between Chihaya Ayase and Arata Wataya.
Short Summary
Arata Wataya had to leave his friends behind to go back to the middle school in Fukui and take care of his ill grandpa. Despite this hardship he keeps the promise: ‘If we continue karuta, we’ll definitely see each other again.’ from his friends in his heart, even with the distance between them... But reality is taking away his dreams and as such he looses his strong feelings towards Karuta.
